For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.
While we continue walking together through these uncertain times, we remember that we serve a faithful God. As such, we commit to doing our best to make wise decisions not out of fear, but out of our trust in the Lord.
At this time the operation of overnight camps continues to be prohibited and a date for reopening has not been set. Therefore, it is with heavy hearts that we are informing campers that we will not run overnight camps this summer.
We want you to know how much we are going to miss you this summer. We will be praying for you. We know this is disappointing. We have all been so excited for camp this summer. While disappointed, our confidence is in God. God is bigger than this. We know He will continue to transform the hearts of those who look to Him, no matter what the circumstances.
Regarding your registration, we would ask that you consider choosing one of these two options:
1. Refund of registration fee.
2. Donate part or all of registration fee to camp.
Refunds will be processed in the order in which we receive refund requests. They will be sent via email transfer using the email provided below (unless a cheque is required/preferred). Our goal is to have all refunds processed by June 30. If you need us to process your refund sooner, please contact us.

Thank you for your grace and understanding as we have navigated this outbreak. We have greatly appreciated your support, prayers, and kinds words of encouragement.
Closing the camp and cancelling camps, retreats, and rentals this spring and summer translates into a significant loss of income for us. Based on decreased income we will need $400,000 to address adjusted operational costs. Financial gifts received this spring will help the ministry continue managing ongoing costs and be prepared to reopen when this emergency is over.
You can make a financial gift to support the camp any time at campcaroline.ab.ca/donation.
Until we are able to reopen, we are asking you to consider directing gifts to the General Fund to allow us to maintain appropriate cash flow and manage ongoing costs.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:4-7 (NIV)
