Experience Unforgettable - Camps & Retreats
    Summer Camps

    Summer Camps for All Ages

Since 1973, Camp Caroline has delivered unforgettable camp experiences summer after summer. We love encouraging campers and counselors to take first and next steps in their relationship with Jesus as they spend a week at camp. We are excited about the possibilities awaiting us this summer, and have been working hard to capture the spirit and joy of camping as we all continue to carefully consider the public health needs in light of COVID-19.

As we have been planning for the summer ministry season we are committed to maintaining the right balance between providing a fun and meaningful overnight camp experience and protecting campers and staff. The health and safety of our campers and staff is always of highest priority to us.

The province has provided us with a number of guidelines and best practices to follow. These best practices will be very similar to those you and your children already experience at work and school, e.g., physical distancing, cohorting, regular cleaning and disinfecting, PPE when needed, and strong hygiene expectations.

TRAINING TO PROTECT CAMPERS AND COUNSELORS

    • Our staff will participate in training designed to protect campers and counselors during their stay. This training will include proper hand hygiene, proper techniques for cleaning and sanitizing, instructions regarding new gathering limits and physical distancing, and proper use of PPE.

    CLEANING PROTOCOLS AT CAMP

    • We have developed cleaning protocols to thoroughly clean and sanitize cabins and common areas regularly. As part of our protocols, special care is taken to clean and sanitize high touch surfaces and any shared equipment.

    GRADE CAMP PROTOCOLS

    • Camps will be run at a reduced capacity this summer. We will run 3 different camps (cohorts) each session. These camps will run separate from one another with limited or no interaction between camps.
    • Physical distancing practices will be in place for campers, counselors, and any one else at camp.
    • Everyone who comes to camp will be properly screened.
    • We will maintain appropriate records for contact tracing.
    • We will also have a rapid response plan in place in the event a camper, counselor, or another staff member on site develop symptoms while at camp.
    • In the months ahead we will continue to work with Alberta Health to make sure we have the most recent health care plans in place for this summer.

    Our Camps

Camp Caroline's summer program and facilities have been designed for maximum impact - spiritually, emotionally and physically. We provide special, age appropriate programming that will make a lasting impact for everyone from Grade 2 to Grade 12. Another important part of the camp experience is relationships, the kind that form and grow between new friends, old friends and mentors. So if you or someone you know could use a bit of "unforgettable" in your life, take a look at our different summer camps!
