    Explore Biblical foundations to build a life focused on God while gaining hands-on experience as a servant leader.

    This year's Lead Camps have been designed for emerging leaders in Grades 10 to 12 who are growing in their Christian faith and want to take it to the next level. Lead Camps are focused on working with students and journeying with them as they seek to lead a God-centered life.

    During Lead, campers will participate in group teaching sessions, personal devotions, team building activities, rotating service projects, spiritual disciplines, worship times, and fun and exciting summer camp activities!

    What is Camp Caroline's health and safety plan for 2021?

    As we have been planning for the summer ministry season we are committed to maintaining the right balance between providing a fun and meaningful leadership training experience and protecting campers and staff. The health and safety of our campers and staff is always of highest priority to us.

    What should I bring?

    Belongings should be marked with Camper's Name

    • Clothes for a week suitable for all types of weather
    • 2-3 sets of grubby clothes for outdoor games
    • 1 set of clothes you are prepared to get covered in paint
    • Sleep wear
    • Socks
    • Shorts
      • An appropriate length for physical activity
    • Warm hoodie/sweater/fleece
    • 2 Pairs of Pants
    • Rain Gear
    • Outdoor footwear: 1 pair thick-soled running shoes
    • Outdoor footwear (optional): 1 extra pair shoes (to wear if others get wet), 1 pair rubber boots, 1 pair sandals 
    • Indoor footwear: gym shoes with non-marking soles
    • Indoor footwear (optional): slippers, sandals, etc. to be kept for indoor use only (bare feet are not allowed in the dining hall)
    • Swimsuit/shorts
      • Girls, please bring a one-piece or at least a dark colored t-shirt to cover up a two-piece
      • Guys, no speedos
    • Bedding/Sleeping Bag
      • You will be sleeping in indoor cabins in one of our 3 lodges
    • Bed sheet for a twin-size mattress

    What SHOULDN'T I bring?

    Please do not bring:

    • Cell Phones. Please leave your cell phones at home. If you need to call home, for some reason during your stay at camp, arrangements can be made to use a camp phone.
    • Camp Caroline is a nut AWARE facility and we ask that you please leave any snacks with nuts in them at home
    • Clothing with content or images that include profanity, sexual references, or derogatory comments
    • Electronics, pocket knives, cigarettes, alcohol, or vapes 

    How do I determine if I am the right age for Lead this year?

    Camps are based on the grade the camper will be entering in the fall following this summer. Campers entering Grade 10,11 or 12 this upcoming fall are eligible to attend these Lead sessions.

    How do I pay?

    Fun not Fees! Please consider paying by email transfer (if able) to help save camp the higher processing fees on Credit Cards. The more we save on credit card fees, the more we have to spend on creating fun spaces and activities for our campers and guests. Thanks!

    Credit Card Payments:

    • Fees can be paid by Visa or MasterCard (Sorry, No Discover or American Express) in full at the time of online booking.

    Can I cancel and what will happen if I do?


    • Cancellations more than one week prior to the first day of your stay will receive a refund for all but the $50 cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations later than one week prior to the first day of your stay will forfeit 50% of the fee.
    • Cancellations later than one week prior to the first day of your stay due to illness* or emergency will receive a refund for all but the $50 cancellation fee.

    *Contagious Illness Protocol The communal living environment of summer camp brings an increased risk for spread of contagious illnesses (e.g. influenza, chicken pox, pink eye, COVID-19, etc.). Staff and campers who have experienced symptoms of contagious illness in the seven days prior to the start of camp are asked to remain at home until no longer contagious. Campers who reveal symptoms of contagious illness upon arrival at camp or who develop these symptoms while at camp will be isolated from other campers and staff, and asked to go home. Camp fees or a pro-rated portion thereof will be refunded in the case of cancellation or early departure due to illness.

    Forced Closure Plan

    If Camp Caroline is forced to close/cancel your stay due to changes in local or provincial COVID-19 restrictions, camper families will be given these options:

      • Enroll in a newly offered program that meets increased COVID-19 restrictions if one is possible/available 
          • If space is limited/reduced, campers will be accepted in the order they initially applied
          • Any over payment due to fee changes will be eligible for a refund as appropriate. (if applicable)
      • Receive a full refund.
      • Donate your fees on account, in full or part, to support the future ministries of Camp Caroline.
