Alberta Baptist Association EventABA Events

Camp Caroline is owned and operated by the Alberta Baptist Association (ABA). The ABA consists of approximately 60 North American Baptist (NAB) Conference churches in and just outside of Alberta. Camp Caroline is ideally located to be a central meeting place for the people of the ABA who are spread across the province. There are several retreats held throughout the year at Camp Caroline that provide an opportunity for relationships, encouragement, and teaching for the following groups. Please note that while Camp Caroline hosts these retreats, others from the ABA are responsible for the organization and/or registration for these events. Please see event description.

This is our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament held to raise funds for our Campership Aid Fund.  We are hoping to raise over $10,000 for kids who couldn't afford to come to camp without financial help, and of course have a lot of fun at the same time!

This year it is being held at Alberta Springs Golf Resort, 2:00 p.m. Shotgun Start. The format will be a Texas scramble.  It will be a good time for both avid golfers and beginners.

Camp Caroline's ministry could not function without the many staff and volunteers who are involved during the summer, so we hold a Staff Reunion the first weekend of November as a way to show our appreciation.  The cost of the weekend is on us.  We just want to say thanks!

All Summer Staff, Volunteers, LDTs, Camp Speakers, and Board Members from the current year are invited, along with their spouse and kids, if applicable.

Highlights of the weekend are the opportunity to reconnect with friends from the summer, reminisce about good times in the summer, encourage one another in our walk of faith, sign Christmas cards to the current year's campers, enjoy good food, and no curfew!

To sign up for the weekend, please use our Online Registration process at:

*Note that you should decide which meals and nights you will be attending before you register so that you can indicate it on the online form.

The ABA Sr High Retreat draws together youth and their leaders / sponsors from approximately 20 churches.  This is one of our fullest retreats at Camp Caroline, normally being capped off at 250 people.

It is a fantastic opportunity for a youth group to bond together through both fun activities and spiritual emphasis, with more attention given to the latter.  Youth also gain an appreciation of the association of other churches and youth with whom they share a passion for making Christ known.

The ABA Student Ministries Resource Team (SMRT), consisting of several youth pastors, oversees the programming for this event.  Camp Caroline receives group registrations for this event from each church, so individual participants must first register with one of our supporting churches.

If you have any inquiries or would like a registration package, please contact SMRT through Bob Walther at bwalther@nab.ca or Jud Stade at jud@centralbaptist.ca.

The Campership Aid Weekend is a family friendly fundraising weekend whose main attractions are a Rook Tournament for the adults and an Uno Extreme tournament for the kids.

All fees collected go to our Campership Aid Fund, which subsidizes children who otherwise couldn't afford to come to summer camp.  Last year we were able to raise over $14,000 towards Campership Aid.  Registration fees are $100 per adult, $60 per child aged 6-15, and kids 5 and under are free.

While this weekend tends to draw Rook players, there are several people who attend simply to support the ministry and enjoy a fun weekend at Camp Caroline with their family.  The children's program runs for the majority of the Saturday and Sunday, allowing the adults to enjoy time together in the dining hall.

If you would like to participate in the weekend, please sign up each individual in your family on our Online Registration system at:
